National Ethics and Values Awards 2025: Celebrating Integrity, Accountability, and Ethical Leadership Across Nigeria Abuja, Nigeria — Friday, October 31, 2025.
In a resounding celebration of moral courage and leadership, the 2025 National Ethics and Values Awards (NEVA) brought together some of Nigeria’s most inspiring personalities at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja. The event, hosted by the African Young Leaders Empowerment Initiative (AFRIYOLEI), honored distinguished individuals and organizations who have demonstrated exceptional integrity, ethical leadership, and positive impact across diverse sectors of national life.
Themed “Building a Culture of Ethics for Tomorrow – Reflecting on Our Journey, Inspiring a Future Grounded in Accountability and Moral Courage,” the awards highlighted a renewed commitment to value-driven leadership, transparency, and ethical excellence in governance, business, and community service.
The prestigious ceremony was graced by leading figures including Mr. Obaniyi Clement Adebayo, Acting Provost, Anti-Corruption Academy of Nigeria (ACAN); Model Jeffrey Olu Abidoye, President and Chairman of Council, Institute of Leadership Management and Productivity Development; and Amb. Segun H. Olugbile, Managing Director/CEO, Data Analytics Privacy Technology Ltd and President, Global Network for Cybersolution Ltd/Gte (GNC) — all of whom applauded the initiative for its bold role in institutionalizing moral accountability in the nation’s leadership ecosystem.
Speaking at the event, the convener Amb. Dele Moses emphasized that NEVA was born out of a deep conviction that “integrity must once again be the foundation of leadership, business, and public service in Nigeria.” The awards, he noted, serve not only to celebrate excellence but also to inspire a generational shift toward honesty, transparency, and social responsibility.
